MY STORY
How I Began and Where I’m Headed
I received my B.A. in Early Childhood Development at Ryerson University, and my M.A. in Special Education at the University of British Columbia, with a focus in autism and behavioural psychology. In addition to being a Registered Psychologist, I am also a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and have extensive experience working with children and families to support a wide rage of social and emotional challenges.

Through my work at the University of Calgary, private practice and school boards in both Vancouver and Calgary, I have provided psychological assessments, evidence-based treatments, and consultations to children, adolescents, parents, and school board professionals. I have also been involved in the development and implementation of various classroom and group treatment programs for children and adolescents experiencing social, behavioural, and emotional challenges.

As Clinical Director and founder of Chickadee Psychology, my belief is that each child and family brings their own unique strengths and challenges. Through collaborative relationships built on respect, compassion, and understanding, my goal is to assist clients in discovering successful pathways through comprehensive psychological assessment. I also specialize in creating personalized plans and providing the necessary tools and resources to guide and support, and assist your child and family.
My primary area of practice is Clinical and School Psychology. I provide assessments and treatments to children and adolescents affected by Learning Disabilities, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and behavioural challenges. I also provide presentations on a variety of educational, social, emotional, and behavioural needs to parents and teachers.
